Description
The wrapper is grown in Ecuador from Connecticut Shade (CT Shade) seed. It is delicate and thin, yet very pliable. This leaf is golden brown in color, very few veins, and is silky to the touch.
The flavor itself is moderate and subtly spicy with sweet, floral notes on the finish. The Ecuadorian-grown variety is usually slightly darker than US-grown CT Shadeleaf, has thinner veins and offers a slightly richer flavor.
As with all Whole Leaf Tobacco products, this leaf comes in proper moisture content for working, but additional moisture might be needed to make the wrapper more pliable and elastic for wrapping.
