The 2022 crop of Lemon Threshed is in. This tobacco is the same as the Flue Cured Virginia Lemon whole leaf, except it has been threshed. Because of the Flue-Cure process, this tobacco has high sugar content (23%) and 1.6% nicotine. This tobacco can be smoked without blending or casing and delivers a wonderful flavor with minimal effort. The Whole Leaf Tobacco threshing process is done mechanically, so you will find remnants of the mid-rib mixed in. Pieces average about 1"x4", with some larger and smaller pieces. This tobacco will need to be further processed for use, and will require a mechanical shredder like our New Heavy Duty Shredder or our New Electric Shredder According to federal law, this product must be sold in quantities of 10 lbs. 1 oz. or more.
