Description

This Flue Cured Virginia tobacco is harvested as a First Priming—taken from the bottom of the plant where it receives the least sunlight. This results in a thinner, lighter-bodied leaf that burns easily and produces a very smooth flavor, especially when used in cigarettes or pipe blends.

It’s a great option to blend with heavier tobaccos to improve burn quality and smoothness. The leaf is hand-harvested for optimal quality. It can also be prepared for shisha or hookah tobacco.

Nice leaf. I bought this primarily to use as something to help my burley and dark fire cured blends burn better and it will do just that. Very mild in taste so won't change anything to the overall flavour of my blend. At first it looked identical to the Lemon when I looked at the bag but when I started stripping and digging into the bundle is when I saw he difference. There are some whole leaves but a lot of parts of leaves, it's thin and easy to strip and it actually drys out quite fast once it's out of the bag, exactly what I was looking for. Another good one by WLT.

Arrived in low to medium case, workable. Light Virginia aroma, sweet. Thin yet durable leaf. The leaves I pulled for evaluation were fairly blemish free. Could easily be used to roll a bidi. Light bodied smoke, crisp and smooth. Nice throat hit. Pleasant neutral aroma. No nasal irritation. Very clean smoker, very little after taste, mild bite. Good straight smoker, just roll and go.

This is a really nice, mild, smooth and easy burning leaf. Makes a great smoke all by itself. This will be great for blending.
If you like flue cured or if you just need to tone down a mix or just add that little something extra this is a must have.
Mine arrived in perfect case.

Nice leaf. Was a little low in case upon opening the pack, but placed it in humidor for a day or two and it came right into medium case. Processed fine, no problem. This is indeed thin, but good mild VA flavor and useful to balance out burn rates with thicker virginias. As noted, there was a label on the bag that stated the season was hurricane affected and a couple extra ounces were included (they were) at no charge to compensate for deleterious leaf. I didn't find any unusable in the half bunch I processed so far. Classy.

5-stars all the way!
Love the Thinleaf just as is. If you find using a different leaf is a bit sharp, just add thinleaf to tone it down. It's definitely thin so you need to work through the bundle rather quick before it's crumbly.

The season was affected by a hurricane and leaves we're damages, they add a few ounces to the pound in case there are losses. The pounds even have a notice attached to let you all know how they may be. That's pretty straight up!!

Cheers from BC Canada!
