Our Kentucky Fire Cured threshed tobacco is whole leaf that has had the mid-rib removed and is ideal for blending or shredding into your own custom smoking or chewing blends. Like other threshed tobaccos, the threshing process is done mechanically, so you will find small remnants of the mid-rib throughout. This tobacco is composed mostly of smaller pieces of leaf (average size about 2”x4”). To further process this tobacco, a mechanical shredder is required—such as our budget device or our heavy duty shredder.
