First question: are B21 and KY21 the same cultivar or are they completely different burleys?

Second question: what’s the smoke like from TN86 and TN90 as far as flavor, feel, effect. That kinda stuff.

Last question: which cultivar yields more? TN86 or TN90?

I appreciate you all

Our fellow forum member Skychaser sells tobacco seed at www.northwoodseeds.com. His site is also a great resource for information.
I couldn’t find a listing for KY21
Burley 21
TN86
TN86LCa
TN90
TN90LC
He is currently out of stock on TN86 and TN90 as he prefers to push the TN86LC and TN90LC due to better health grade score card.
I know I’ve grown the TN86 and TN86LC as well as the TN90 and TN90LC. Both were excellent and the decision is tough. I guess if I could only have one, it would be the TN90LC.
I may have grown the bu21 but still prefer TN86 and TN90.

If I remember correctly both cultivars were fantastic. TN90 was possibly slightly stronger and slightly more productive to be honest you would be completely satisfied with either and would have an extremely difficult time identifying wWwhich during a blind taste test.

@polygon55 sells Burley 21, HI Burley 21, and Li Burley 21, the latter of which are crosses with Burley 21 and LA Burley 21. So, what i deduce is that there are at least 4 different Burley 21s, which might mean that KY21 is distinct, but probably pretty much the same.

My website is pitifully out of date. For that, I apologize. I do have both TN 90 and TN 86 in stock.

Please show me a post where I have EVER "pushed" anything. You can't. Because I haven't!

As far as the LC tobaccos go, I will be dropping them entirely when the seed stock I have runs out. Mine is F2 seed and is not certified LC, as it states on my site. LC's are lower in nornicotine but none of the LC strains produce as heavily as the originals do.

Just an idea, what if you posted a thread in the forum that simply had the names (and categories) of all the available tobacco seed strains. That way you could continue to neglect the website which would be much more work, you know, writing descriptions, uploading photos, etc.
