So i watced a video on cavendish from cornell and diehl he had mentioned a cigar company that used their left overs and cut offs to make cavendish and blackened it. So i decided to give it a go with a small bag of cigar scraps. First i ran them all through my new-to-me pasta maker with the fettuccini part. It gave me a rough "short filler" cut i steamed it for around 5 hours as i wasnt going for a black cavendish and it had darkeend a decent amount . I used water vanilla extract, almond extract, and rum extract. I let.it dry all day today and did not press it. Going to run it through the shredder in a few mins. It smells like mild cocoa or unsweetened chocolate. I think it will make a great option for blending!
