Hello friends. Have you ever smoked a cigar that has grown from full-grown tobacco in the hot sun? A friend told me that cigars are leaves that have grown a lot in the sun. They do not burn well and have a very spicy taste. What is your opinion and suggestion?

I think all cigar leaf is grown in full sun aside from CT Shade (and other shade wrappers) which is grown under full sun but with 40% shade cloth over it. Some countries have more cloud cover than others. The lower leaves (Seco) burn better than the upper leaves (Ligero). The Seco is milder and have less nicotine, the Ligero is stronger and has more nicotine, but some of it can burn very poorly. That is one of the reasons to blend, to balance the strength, flavor, intensity, and combustibility.
