Afternoon, anyone ever make a crumble cake out of codger blends? I really like SWR aromatic and tried Captain Black Royal yesterday. I got to pondering as I was puffing on my pipe that what would happen if you made a crumble cake out of the two. I have never made one before and thought if I would make a difference to press it. I mixed the two together and and I thought it made a pretty great light aromatic. Any thoughts if pressing would benefit or not?

I'm not sure how much difference it would make, compared to just mixing them, and allowing them to rest for a few days. An easy way to try a crumble-cake is to pack the mixture into a 1 quart freezer Ziploc bag, left unzipped, and flatten it beneath some weight (books, pots and pans, etc.) for two or three weeks. Please let us know what you get.
