This might of interest for those looking for more information on Delgold. I planted this variety one summer on an Ontario tobacco farm seasonal job over 30 years ago. I remember the farmer telling me the government gave the seed. Each seed was coated in a blue material which made them the size of fertilizer and highly visible. The plants grew in the field beautifully.
