Southern Washington State I can see Oregon from my
A close friend of mine passed away recently
so his sister and I made one of those memorial dvd's the kind
where there are pictures and music it played great on my computer but
when she tried to play it on her DVD TV set up it just said " Invalid DVD "
Damn it. It was made on " Image Burn " I personally don't have DVD player hooked up
because of my satellite TV connection makes it a nightmare to set up
So I used ConvertXtoDVD 4 and just burned a DVD to give it a try
My question is have any of you guys ran into the same problem ?
And if so how did you fix it ?

the only time ive done that was for my brothers wedding. used powerpoint and saved to thumbdrive and we had a second copy (just in case) either on the laptop itself or on cd/dvd. we played it directly from the laptop to a projector. as for how to get it to play in a dvd player, its got to be a format issue. looks like you need a special program.

this might help: http://ask.metafilter.com/26955/DVD-photo-slideshow-software

if not google "how to get a picture slideshow on dvd player" you should be able to find something.

Dkh2 In a lot of dvd programs it will give you an option to finalize the dvd. When finalized it should play in a stand alone dvd player. If not finalized it will only play on computers. What file format was the video in?
