Hi all! I have finally got around to getting whole leaf and started to make it myself. I got a few lemon virginia leaves, and I've been surprised for the good and for the bad.
For the good, because the tobacco could be smoked right away, without a bite and with a nice-ish flavor. I thought it would be pretty much unsmokable without further processing.
But for the bad, because I find this virginia to be quite strong nicotine wise. Being a lemon virginia, I expected it to be light and perfect for the summer. However, it packs a punch similar to a burley, and I cant smoke it without feeling dizzy in the end.
I have been exploring toasting and casing with alright results, but not enough to smoke it without trouble. Any suggestions guys?
And is it normal, that raw virginia leave has more nicotine than we are used to? Or is it because of this specific source?
