Been lurking for a while now and it is time I made an account and joined in the conversation.
I've been a cigar guy for well over 25 years. I have enjoyed it and I love the taste of quality tobacco. I decided to cut way back on the cigars due to costs and the lack of the social aspect of cigar smoking that I love. I moved back to my hometown 12 years ago and there are no cigar guys that I have found in my area. Enjoying a cigar alone is fine, but it can get a bit lonely after a few years. So I switched to nasal snuff and snus as I can sneak them while at work and they cost much less than premium cigars.
Started watching Youtube videos on snuff and snus and eventually began looking at dip and chew reviews. The dip is everywhere in my area and I don't have to order it in, so I bought a couple cans and found that I like it. Got my hands on some loose-leaf chew and I love the stuff! But, it is a bit hard to find in my little, sparsely populated part of the state. I have been toying with the idea of making my own and am about to go down that rabbit hole. I have been enjoying the information and sharing of ideas in this forum and look forward to making some of my own tobacco to enjoy.
