I never know what to write in these introduction threads, but I understand their importance to some people, so I'll give it a shot.
I'm rapidly reaching the age of genuine old fart, and I've been using, and loving rather than fretting about, tobacco for a great many decades. Almost all kinds of it. I love a fine cigar. I really love an English Pipe Mixture heavy on the Latakia smoked in a fine vintage English pipe. I love a cigarette on rare occasion, if I'm around people who smoke. But my greatest love affair of all is with Dip. Primarily Copenhagen Dip. Nothing better in the world.
A few days ago, after doing a bit of shopping at WLT, I made my first batch of Dip. It's excellent, so I fear that I may have caught the DIY tobacco bug! I'm callin' it Snek Dip, and I'm nagging my Dippin' buddies to try and make their own as well. The 'how I did it' is over in the Smokeless forum now.
I learned a lot lurking here on these forums, so I hope to be able to post things I learn as I go. Perhaps they will be helpful to someone else.
Last summer, I did write quite a bit about my own experiences with Dip over the course of many decades, and I'd rather not type that all out again, or do a cut and paste, so if you are interested in 'My Life Story, In A Tobacco Can' you can find it here: https://cmbailey.substack.com/p/young-men-fueled-by-zyn
In any event, I'm happy to be here, and hope to be able to contribute something of value to these forums from time to time.
