Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself here as i have been lurking for a little and decided to finally sign up. I am from Florida and about to take on my first time growing tobacco. My end goal is to grow harvest and process my own blend of cigarette tobacco, and I have done a decent bit of research figuring out which tobaccos I would like to harvest based on my personal preferences. In the end I selected 5 different varieties yellow twist bud, xanthi, bafra, shirazi, and cherry red. I purchased them from victory seed Co If that matters. Just looking for tips on growing these varieties and first time growing in general. I look forward to updating you guys with my progress along the way.

Planning to grow in the soil just made some fertilizer w compost and tilled up a little plot in the yard. Thank you for the good wishes.
