anyone tried any of these?

i got a pretty good deal so i thought it was worth a shot

I have had the Davidoff. It was a long time ago. I do recall being impressed at how natural it was.

The "John Cotton's" pipe tobacco selections are Russ Oullette's recreations of the original John Cotton's English blends from the 1970s. They are pretty close to my recollection of the originals, though the shred is finer than the original versions. Also, the originals contained not a trace of any casing. (100% of today's commercial pipe tobaccos contain at least some casing.) I have not tried the Sweet English. The "1&2" and the "Smyrna" are both lovely.

I've had Larry's blend but not the "Morning" version ... assume it's a bit lighter than the original Lat-bomb.
