I woudl process and store it. Mainly because I consider the tobacco at more risk to be hanging. THe sooner it gets better protected the easier I sleep.

I just bought 2 barns of hanging tobacco. It's been hanging for 4 years and man is it smooth. The farmer has an ideal location though. I've lost a lot of tobacco to mold from 3 days of rain in early fall or even in Spring during an extended thaw. Mold doesn't grow in Spring, but mildew sure as heck does.

If you can keep your eye on your tobacco and correct a problem when one occurs, let it hang. Otherwise, take it down to light case and box it up and store it somewhere dry. Of course keeping it in case would be ideal, but that's kind of tough to do.

ive come up with a ingeniuos way of storing my processed baccy in mason jars,,,,and they stay in case,,,,, ive checked them periodaccly ,,vs the cigar box i had some in,,,

im gonna make a thread of my experiment,,and my outcome,,,

.. i guess im gonna go ahead and process this baccy,,,, vs/// letting it hang and possibly have mold issues,

thanks for the help,
