Manisa Izmir

Good day everyone. I was surfing Fleabay and came across a seller in Turkey selling various odds and ends, and one of his listings is for "Turkish" tobacco seeds. On a whim, I decided to email him and ask what strain it is, and after a couple emails back and fourth I learned that it is an Aegean strain grown in Manisa, though he doesn't know the specific name of the strain.

Anyone know anything about tobaccos from Manisa? I know it's not far from Akhisar. Given that a lot of strains are named after where they are grown, perhaps it's a strain specific to Manisa? Or, being not far from Akhisar, it's that strain?

Anyway, I am considering getting them just to grow them and see what they are.

If you're up for an adventure, go for it. The seeds might be 30 years old and not do a thing. Like going to Vegas, don't bet more than you are willing to loose.
