Are there any tobacco varieties that are *good* if not *excellent* in multiple applications? One variety that is an excellent addition or stand-alone variety in cigars, cigarettes, and pipes.... or pipes, chew, and snuff... or a different combination of three or more uses?

I read an article recently that talked about how the variety Pennsylvania 41 makes decent cigar wrapper, binder, and filler but also can be used for snuff and chewing tobacco. I'd love to know if there are other varieties that have this wide applicability. I've seen different experts here on FTT describe multiple ways to use varieties like Prilep - perhaps this is one such multipurpose cultivar?

I think as a rule, burley is the most versatile. You regularly see it in pipe, cigarette, & smokeless, and I have heard of using it in cigars too. It's appropriateness might depend on strain (stronger) , fermentation and aging (more) , and leaf position (higher for filler).
