Hi everyone.I present to you my home made tobacco cutting machine. This machine cuts between 1,5 - 2 kilos of tobacco leaves in one load.
First i make a block using the press.I keep the tobacco leaves in the press for 30 minutes up to 2 hours. Then the block is placed in the cutting machine. It takes about 7 minutes for the machine to cut the whole block into extra fine strips,0,3 -0,4 mm wide.
This extra fine cut tobacco is excelent for rolling/injecting your own cigarettes.
I dont have to wait for the tobacco to dry (the tobacco is not wet , it is just slightly moistened. I can smoke it immediately. With my machine i can cut aprox. 100-150 kg / day , if i have the bricks already made. Normally i cut 10-15 killos a day.Once cut out of the machine, the tobacco is already processed and flavored , just like the cigarettes from factory.

It took me 3 weeks to complete this machine and press.

Here's a video link where you can see my beauty at work.

AND you've a hell of a talent for welding. Nice clean work. A shot of the advancing mechanism would be interesting

i watched your machine last night, on h.t.g.t site

and informed, you on this site, were leaning towards the powermatic shredder.

out of curiosity,,,

just what would you ask for that machine,?????
as stated before, i commend you on your creation, allthough it's based on a design that is on you-tube allready,

but i like your's a lot better,

i hope you took my advice and give the powermatic shredder a look, and watched the video's,

if your price, is anything over 100$. i dont think you'll have any bites here,

we are all amazed, and impressed with the powermatic,

6 month's ago, you may have sold a couple,

. but i think you came to the game a little late,

. but thiers allways those out there, that havent come across a good shredder, and your design is very good,{ and still use pasta shredders, e.t.c.} that may want your device,

i say props to you, for a very good build,

For personal use and for hobby the Powermatic is perfect .My machinery is the smaller version of what factories use to cut the tobacco , it is extremely durable and all the parts are high quality. The electric engine is a SEW EURODRIVE (made in germany) and it developes 1,5 Horse Power .The engine weighs 20 kilos.
The machine in the video costs 1500 Euros/ 1815 USD + Shippment. This machine cuts in 8 minutes 2 kilos of tobacco in one load .Cutting capacity per day :100-150 kg.Usually i cut 10-15 kg per day, but if i have the bricks already made i can cut 100-150 kg /day. The total weight of the machine is aprox.40 kilos.
The smaller version costs 1000 Euros /1210 USD + Shipment . This machine cuts 1 kilo in one load. Cutting capacity per day : 50-75 kg.The total weight of the machine is aprox.30 kilos.
For this money you get the machine and the press, painted in a professional workshop in your desired colour. You also get an extra cutting knife .All the components are brand new and high quality and will last for many years. The cutting knife is made from heat treated 1095 high carbon steel .These knives can be sharpened aprox. 1000 times. I personally sharpen my knives after i cut 50 kg of tobacco. In this way the shreds are always perfect.
The machine comes accompanied by user manual in English.
I guarantee that this machine is jam free.
From the moment you place your order it will take me 3 weeks to complete your machine and press.

The powermatic seems perfect for the home grower and has a price consistent with the category, this would be great for someone looking to go commercial, only problem is the ryo stores are getting hammered in the USA

I think that is cheap compared to commercial ones though right? And that appears to be the market

As i say ....the machine is designed to cut tobacco for many many years without any problems. The truth is that the machine is not for everyone (not all of us can afford it). Is for those kind of people that makes money with it....I like to call it " The money Maker"
I didn't posted here with the only purpose to sell the machine , but if somebody likes it and wants it ...i will be glad to build one.
