hello. How do you guys roll when you’re rolling a double binder? Is it one binder and then in the mold and then apply the other? Are you putting it back in the mold after applying the 2nd binder? Or are you applying both binders before going into the mold?
Do you only use thin leafs for double binder or do anything more or less goes?
Are you doing anything to make sure the binder and wrapper doesn’t have a hard time burning due to the thickness?
Any other things I should know?

I lay two binders on top of each other and roll them once as if they were one binder.

Thanks for answering. That makes sense. I think I’ve seen it done now that you mentioned it.

I would not do this if the binder or wrapper were particularly thick, and I wouldn't do this on lower ring gauges.

At what rg would you start using double binder?

My choice to use a double binder is usually determined by how thin my chosen binder happens to be. A thin binder often pairs well (in terms of combustion) with a thicker wrapper. I seldom roll narrow gauge cigars, but I have used a double binder when rolling a narrow, very long stogie, just for sturdiness.

There are no rules.
