Guys-

I have a plastic grocery bag of cigar scraps in my Coolerdor taking up needed space. Is it better to put the scrap in a ziplock & squeeze out most of the air or can I use my Food Saver & remove all of the air before returning it to the Coolerdor?

Any help would be appreciated.

Tobacco may also need oxygen to age. I couldn't swear to it though, it just sounds right.

If it's home grown and not kilned, you might want to keep it in case (15% -20% moisture) and if your coolerdor is at 70F/70%,, you can vacuum the air out, put three ties around it and then open the bag.

This should reduce the space needed and allow the leaf to breathe and age.
