Hi All,

I'm wanting to get some more tobacco varieties growing to get me started.

I'm hoping to have about 5 kinds of plants.

If I'm predominantly making pipe tobacco, what ones would you suggest?

Thanks in advance!

Take a look here:
Skychaser is a forum member, his seeds are top quality and very reasonably priced. If you want to add more strains to the pipe blend multi-pack simply browse his tobacco seed selection, he has more than you can imagine.
Remember you can make cavendish or perique from almost every strain, with different results (sometimes pleasantly surprising!).
Just remember to keep us updated on your efforts.

At least in my experience at a minimum you’d want:

Virginia ( my understanding is that you can several different types from one plant with the different primings)

Oriental (Izmir and basma are my go to’s)

Burley (depending on what blends you want to make)

Maryland 609 (it can do just about anything you ask it too)
