Hi there thanks to all for this forum much needed help advice ect.Big storms took about 1/3 but overall a success the tobacco smells great and i am going for the long cure in smell proof bags(the only ones i could find) somewere warm.I basically smoke 1 or 2 ryo each day so not saving much cash but growing tobacco is very rewarding and shall repeat next year with costello,goose creek red and harrow velvet ooohhhh and I thought Id chuck in a picture ov me best mate and baccy gaurd dog sparky the long leg jack russell .

Make sure every stem is completely dry, before bagging. (I see a green one in the first photo.)

Hi bob well spotted stripped all the stems out to about half way just to be safe now waiting on the bags to be delivered.Had difficulties finding zero vapour bags but think these ones will be good ill post a picture beforei put them away....

Thanks red leaf I do work in horticulture and truelly love growing organic food for me and the wife to eat...What a interesting crop tobacco is to grow pure artisanal growing andpast down over thousands of years what a great gift from planet earth for us to enjoy...Split face terriers are ace full on high maintenance but great

The vapour proof bags have arrived.Had real difficulties finding anything that would not pass air as in uk you cannot really find out what bags are made out of,so went with these I believe they are meant to stop smelly herbs ect hhhmmnn.Never mind perfect for the long long cure.Maybee two or three bags lllloooonnnnnggggg cure lol .

The bags for use with vacuum food sealers are vapor-proof. The only meaningful difference between polyethylene bags and vapor-proof bags (poly-nylon) is that with the former, you may need to bring the leaf back into low case prior to subsequent handling.

Cheers bob yep thought about double bagging using cheap freezer bags ect but even they get expensive in larger sizes so just bit the bullet and got these off ebay with care they should out last me...
