It was announced today that provisions in the Obamacare legislation will allow insurance companies to charge smokers up to 50% more than non-smokers for health insurance with no tax credits by the gov't. Estimates are that it could cost about 25% of your income for insurance. This will make health insurance too expensive for smokers to purchase.

my last job tested for cotinine, if you failed insurance rates nearly doubled.

Stop consuming when you find out when the test is, drink water in excess leading up to the test, the day of the test drink until you pee clear then take a multi vitamin high in the b's to go yellow again then drink more water till it goes to a more normal shade of yellow then go collect it when it's diluted but natural looking.

Tobacco users are junkies/criminals I guess now.

I find it hard the gorvernment would be able to do that. Since nicotine is "addictive" they would not be able to charge you extra for health insurance. If a cocaine addict went to the ER with chest pains I do not think they would charge him a higher rate for treatment...Of course I've been wrong before, I never would of figured that the Supreme Court would hold up the legality of the Governement forcing us to buy a product (health insurance).
