Turkish Pipe Tobacco blend and recipe

This blend is completely created with only Turkish strains. Before blending ribs should be picked. Leaves may be splitted into pieces.

Blend contains,

Strain -------%
Yayladag ----50
Bitlis --------22
Izmir --------12
Adiyaman ----16

All tobaccos should be mixed properly.

Second stage is saucing;

Materials----------------------%
Licorice honey-----------------2
Carob-------------------------0.5
Fig essence--------------------0.5
Honey--------------------------2
Sodium benzoate and Milk-------0.5
Sodium nitrate------------------0.25
Propylene or Diethylene glycol---0.25
Water--------------------------7

Mixture should be heated up t0 30 'C and sprayed on the blend. After saucing blend has a humidity ratio of %18-20. Blend should rest for a day to absorb the mixture. Finally humdity should be %13-14.

After saucing next process is giving a good smell to the blend. For this purpose ;

Propylene glycol------2
Maple----------------2
Tonka bean----------0.6
Fixator---------------0.2
Alcohol--------------10.9
Water----------------3.3

After spraying this mixture tobaccos should rest for a day again to absorb the fragrance.

Now blend is ready to be shredded with a width of 1-1.2 mm.

Thank you very much for this information. I was just wondering that there is no cocoa/chocolate in that blend. Is Carob the substitute for it? Is Rom actually Rum? I really think this is excellent information that you have posted istanbulin and please post more blends if you have!

Carob was used as substitute for cocoa in foods for many years, it may be same for tobacco. Yes, Rom is Rum I wrote it wrong.
