I want to grow Virginia Bright leaf next year for my cigarette blind. I would love to know what type I should grow. I love the Virginia bright that I ordered from Don on Whole Leaf Tobacco, but I don't know the type. What would you suggest? What do you grow?

Virginia Bright Leaf is an actual cultivar. I think you are looking to grow a flue cured variety of which there are hundreds. Some of the more mild flue cured varieties are Virginia Blight Leaf, Virginia Gold and Silkleaf, to name a few.

That is what I wanted to know. I knew that it was a cultivar but I did not know if it was a type also. So if I wanted some seed I would just ask for Virginia Bright Leaf seed? Do you grow any?

Va bright leaf is one of my new favorites, silk leaf is decent but always had more of a grassy flavor to me.

Yes, just ask for Virginia Brightleaf seed. I grew some this year so I'll be donating seed to the seedbank.
