Wrapper leaf color roughly corresponds to its priming position on the stalk: lighter color from the lower stalk; darkest color from the top of the stalk. How light or dark the color spectrum depends on the variety of the leaf.

I'm still unclear as to what you are asking. "...using some wrapper that...make a nice viso...filler...."

My homegrown isn’t really separated by stalk position. The leaves without holes or tears are my wrappers. A few holes here and there are my binders. The rest is filler. I will select some light thin leaf that will burn well and pair it with some thick dark leaf for a blend.
Using WLT leaf I go through my filler leaf and pull out leaf that will make nice wrapper or binder. Not only because of the difference in cost between graded filler and wrapper, but also because it gives me more blending options. I also like puros on occasions, same variety for filler, binder, and wrapper, or no binder.
