What's the №1 best smelling cured leaf?

If you only considered bag appeal, NOT smoked, what is that absolute, #1 best variety tobacco ever?

I would love to know what you think is the best smelling cured tobacco, I simply mean if you open a bag of cured leaf, and put your nose in it. I am not concerned with anything else, not how it smokes or what type of tobacco, it can be Virginia, Burley, Turkish, Oriental, Rustica.

From there I will buy the seed if it has enouf nicotine for my needs, and try to diy some homegrown dry snuff.

I'm going to agree that VA smells simply amazing. If you're really into campfire smell, though, Latakia is sublime... but you're likely not going to be able to replicate that.

I wonder, specifically, is there a favorite (variety) of Virginia that you would prefer.
I would think that many of them are very different from each other. I only have a seed of Cherry Red Virginia, I wanna get one that would have a better smokeless smell, or bag appeal, I was thinking maybe Costello Negro.

I smoked alot of Latakia that's why I am shying away from the TSNA'S found in fire cured and in Latakia.don't get me wrong I loved it for a long time.
