Upon opening of the vapor-proof package, you’ll notice notes of strong sweet cocoa and rich tobacco. During the burn, experience notes of mocha like sweetness, some woodiness, and a touch of licorice on the finish.
Dominican Criollo 98 was developed in Cuba to replace the earlier Corojo hybrid, Habana 2000.
As with all Whole Leaf Tobacco products, this leaf comes in proper moisture content for working, but additional moisture might be needed to make the wrapper more pliable and elastic for wrapping.

Highly recommended. Beautiful condition. For years now I’ve been wrapping with this. Flawless Everyone Time.

Really nice leaf. Easy to work with. Dresses the cigars with a gorgeous dark sheen. And the flavor notes in the description are accurate to my finding. Cocoa, wood and a touch of licorice

Just do it. But leave some for me, ‘K?

This one doesn’t do it for me. The leaf I received was a bit small overall and extremely thin. Now as binder, this leaf has proven to be very versatile and adds a lot of flavor to my Dominican based blends. My rating is as wrapper, but as a binder its easily a 4.5.
