Our RIPE Flue Cured Virginia is the highest leaf position on the tobacco plant. The result is a heavy-bodied (thick) leaf with a more pronounced tobacco flavor. This leaf is allowed to ripen on the stalk, resulting in a stronger tobacco flavor with a higher nicotine content compared to all other Flue Cured types. This leaf is more brown in color with some red and a little orange mixed in.
This is a perfect stand-alone leaf but might need to be blended with a thinner-bodied leaf to improve burn quality.

I received this leaf a few days ago. The leaves are very large and almost intact. They were easy to deal with to remove the stems and shred. Smoked this in a cigarette alone at first to try it. Boom! Has a good taste but very strong throat hit and nicotine is off the charts. I usually blend Lemon and dark air to obtain a blend I like, this leaf does the same thing by by itself. I smoked one before writing this and I’m shocked at the nicotine content. I’m a long time smoker and this actually gave me the spins.
