I’ve had this for a couple of years and have made over 20,000 cigarettes with it. When I first got it it seemed like I had nothing but trouble. I would shred some tobacco, try it, get frustrated and bring out the trusty Powermatic II to finish the job. Finally I discovered that the tobacco needs to be very dry and the shreds less than perfect (short) for it to work well. It works so well I would never go back to filling tubes with the Powermatic II. Filling a carton in a hour is easy! The only issue I’ve had was that the little tip that secures the tube to the injector wore quickly. I turned it once, and then when it was worn again I wrapped a sliver of plumbing tape around it. It is still the same plumbing tape and I haven’t turned it since, that was probably 15,000 injections ago. Others have described the same issue and have found simple fixes too. Other than that any frustrations I’ve had were caused by the tobacco being too wet or the shreds being too long.
