Very limited quantities available. This special tobacco blend of Red Virginia and Brightleaf is threshed, or stripped, for ease of processing. Also known as "smoking tobacco," it is the highest grade used primarily for traditional pipe tobacco. This threshed tobacco is whole leaf that has had the mid-rib removed. The Whole Leaf Tobacco threshing process is done mechanically, so you will find remnants of the mid-rib mixed in. This tobacco will need to be further processed for use and will require a mechanical shredder—like our budget or heavy duty options.
