Yeah they are all good. Just posted a picture of them on my waiting blog. We seem to miss most of the storms that come. We must be too skinny for them to bother us. Thanks for your concern though and good luck with your grow.@Oldfella i was just up at kerikeri and was thinking of your plants when it just came down hard. i hope your plants are ok
Mostly our Cyclones and Tropical storms come from the tropics and have lost a lot of their punch by the time they get to us. This is good, but MY BACCY STILL HATES IT.We would call that a weak category 2 if they were sustained winds that speed. In 2004 we took a direct hit from hurricane ivan with sustained winds of 130 mph (209 km). Ivan was a cat 4. Power was out in my neighborhood for 10 days. We had road in and out cleared by 10am the day after (storm was at night). I woke up with a hangober to the sound of chainsaws! Glad everything ok!
Two breeds Catapiller. One green and the other grey with black stripes. Green one is most likely the white butterfly that creates havoc with cabbages. The other one, don't know. I'll try and get some pics of them tomorrow. I suspect that Slugs and Snails may be involved as the lower leaves are most affected.Could you tell what was munching on the leaf?
