So i had to pile cure some leaves between old towels since the summer is fairly short here in southern finland. It went well, except for a few leaves forming white mold on them. Is this a serious issue, or can i use some kind of natural liquid to get rid of it? Thank you

Spray the leaves with hydrogen peroxide and mold will disappear. H2O2 doesn’t affect the taste, but the leaves in the picture show a lot of green, they may taste “grassy” anyway.

Thank you for the info. I assume that it's not a healt risk neither? Thankfully i have managed to cure a good batch of fully brown/golden leaves which are fermenting in glass jars as we speak. Zero mold in them. First time grower, and i learned a bunch of stuff this summer. Im gonna plant my tobaccos way sooner, since it seems to do well in the cool spring nights. Air curing was the biggest problem since autumn is very cool and humid here. Cheers!
