I experienced a similar situation when my dehumidifier in the basement broke down during a period of high humidity. No warning, it just conked out. A large portion of my leaf molded. I replaced the bad dehumidifier with two new ones to give me some leeway. It's heartbreaking and I can certainly sympathise.I was required to leave my grow/harvest for the last 10 days due to a family emergency.
(Everyone/everything is fine).
I came back to a cellar full of moldy plants.
Someone in the building decided my fan didn’t need to be running all the time.
I haven’t made it to the garden house yet (tomorrow). I’m not expecting anything better. My emergency house sitter decided since it was raining every other day, my plants require no attention, and he forgot about airing out the garden house, where the bulk of my outside grow is stalk curing.
I’m honestly thinking about giving up.

Happy that you're able to salvage something from all the hard work. The Virginia Gold is still not effected by any infection, and is ripening away.View attachment 56961
The only info on resistance that I can locate for Virginia Gold is on ARS-GRIN, which indicates "root rot resistance".The Virginia Gold is still not effected by any infection
