Very nice smoke, especially adding about 15 % of my izmir. Looking forward to trying it after a good kiln cycle.I got to plant silver river next spring. Everyone just raves about it, both growing and smoking. Have you tried to smoke any yet? Let me know how it smoked before you age it.

So glad to hear that. I was wanting to grow a burly that was not so harsh and silver river seems to fit the bill. Also hear great things about YTB. Seems you had a great turn out this year despite all the set backs from weather early on.
Can you smoke YTB without a lot of ageing?
The YTB cures nicely too. Mine did not grow to expectation though....completely my fault. I planted mine between two tall varieties. It is a funny grower. Stays low to the ground for along time before growing upward. The other plants shaded it out. Next year ytb will be an end row or in a patch by itself.
It looks like it's working like it should. Nice batch of leaf there. I have some VA yellowing that I'm going to try to sun cure. It was the first flue cure showing some ripeness.
