You are right on schedule according to the Cureco schedule. By 72hrs. you should be at 120* db. and almost to a smokable product.

Curing Schedule Below is our recomended curing schedule.

Hours	Dry Bulb	Advance Rate	Wet Bulb
0-24	90°-100°	1°/HR	95°
24-48	100°-105°	1°/HR	102°
48-72	105°-120°	1°/HR	105°
72...	120°-165°	1°/HR	105° Lower Stalk 108° Upper Stalk

• Do NOT leave 120° Dry Bulb until the tobacco is yellow
• If you use curing gas, do so during 24-48 hour period
• This schedule is tested and proven, some variation may occur depending on your tobacco
• To attain proper Wet Bulb reading change wicks every cure
• Proper Wet Bulb reading is critical to maximize fuel efficiency
• Periodically check Wet Bulb accuracy with a hygrometer

Entire garage smells wonderful this morning. Stem drying, humidity falling like a rock. When it gets to 20% I know it is done.

The "salvage run" from the back garden which was subjected to two full curing cycles actually came out looking pretty nice.

The Silver River has been hands down my best curing leaf.

I got to plant silver river next spring. Everyone just raves about it, both growing and smoking. Have you tried to smoke any yet? Let me know how it smoked before you age it.

Very nice smoke, especially adding about 15 % of my izmir. Looking forward to trying it after a good kiln cycle.

So glad to hear that. I was wanting to grow a burly that was not so harsh and silver river seems to fit the bill. Also hear great things about YTB. Seems you had a great turn out this year despite all the set backs from weather early on.

The YTB cures nicely too. Mine did not grow to expectation though....completely my fault. I planted mine between two tall varieties. It is a funny grower. Stays low to the ground for along time before growing upward. The other plants shaded it out. Next year ytb will be an end row or in a patch by itself.

From the curing chamber it is good. Don't know about air dried.

My YTB stayed small too until about 3 weeks ago then boom 5' tall, but huge leaves.

The YTB cures nicely too. Mine did not grow to expectation though....completely my fault. I planted mine between two tall varieties. It is a funny grower. Stays low to the ground for along time before growing upward. The other plants shaded it out. Next year ytb will be an end row or in a patch by itself.

My last full run has been in the chamber now 60 hrs. Some is doing good and other shows almost no color change. This is all upper leaf so large variation in ripeness. Throwing the time partof the schedule out the window. Will maintain as close to 99 deg and 85-90% humidity as close as possible until desired color is reached.

My last run was a bidge too............... I was up and down with the temps trying to get color rite Most were top leaves also and mostly flue cured variety and a few large leaf mid leafs like one sucker and lil dutch. Shoulda held them for later really.

84 hrs into "slow yellowing". Mixed varieties and some really green upper leaves. Maintaining 95-99 deg and 85-90% rh.. Patience may pay off. The darker ones are catching up. No leaf is either drying or sweating. The izmir are acting like pics i have seen of sun curing....green to yellow to brown from edge to center. All leaf is staying thick and leathery.

It looks like it's working like it should. Nice batch of leaf there. I have some VA yellowing that I'm going to try to sun cure. It was the first flue cure showing some ripeness.

I'm way over on time on this run also. I know it's too much nitrogen in the ground, as my son keeps pouring the horse manure in the garden.
