Where can I get a Powermatic shredder in the UK

Hi guys, I am looking for a Powermatic shredder in the UK, can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Also do you consider this to be the best one on the market..

Pure Leaf has manual shredder that would be much more economic to purchase than a Powermatic S. There's only one new Powermatic shredder available that I'm aware of anyway.

If you can make do with the shredder you have for awhile longer, the newly redesigned Powermatic will be available. Currently the old style is out of stock everywhere. I love my Powermatic, I would recommend it over any manual.

Its a US based company so I imagine I would also need some type of step down transformer as I am in the UK, I am not sure I can wait for the new Powermatic to come out that little thing I have been using is just so boring and mind numbing to use.

You could always get a pasta machine and motor for the mean time.
The best one I found was a Shule and they make a motor for it also.
Just rough up the shredder cutters with a file or die grinder and you are good to go.
The Baccy should be pretty dry, the gears will strip if you abuse her.
If you have a kitchen aid blender thingie they make a good pasta attachment also so you would not need a motor.

You are correct but Hey it has a redesigned feeder chute Now.
The cigg injector is not to bad but it is a learning thing very fussy about the moisture.

The 1200 Euros one is too pricey for me, I did contact someone in the US about one of the JGT Machines but not sure what I need to get to use this in the UK as we have 3 pin 240v

It will be 110V. You'll need a voltage converter to "step down" from 240/220 to 120/110 volts. In the U.S. they're inexpensive. Go to Amazon.co.uk and you'll find them. In fact, just looking a moment ago, there are several models ... one for example, was 8.49 GBP. By the way, even if you found a Powermatic S, you'd still need a voltage converter.

Yes, that's the one. I'm no electrician, so I can't give you any more advice. If you are interested in the JGT shredder, you can e-mail the company at [email protected] and ask them whether it's sufficient.
