Oops. Something broke in the View Active Topics. The searches are now not updating properly. It appears that my earlier searches (judging by the number at the end of the URL) never change. And the display of unread posts count also does not change.

A somewhat tangental observation - I think I tried to visit the site while the update was being done and got a 500 error. I assumed something along these lines was being done and revisited later without issue. But when I got the error, I had a momentary, horrible thought - what if something happened to the site? Do backups exist? There is such an amazing wealth of knowledge on this site and it would be such a tragedy to lose it.

I dislike facebook immensely.
Many of my clients have been caught with the adds and lost money.
Even if you delete your account, it is still there for anyone to see. Bad news.
Thankfully I have never signed up.

I am very pleased this forum is not linked to it anymore.

smart move for FTT. Zuckerberg has made fb into a political mess anyway. And now the rumors to charge people to use it despite the ad nauseum multiple ads .
