Ive been using a power matic 2 for about a year and have not had any problems. i tore up my T2 in about 6 months; my fault.having the moisture right has more to do with it than the shred. I run from big flake to powder through it.If it jams you arent doing it right. it packs as tight as you want. Ilite mine with a torch.but I like'm tite. I hold the end of the paper with my finger to get it packet good. The drawbacks are its $100 bucks and if you break it I dont think it can can be fixed. Its not much faster than a manual but a lot les work if you make a lot at a time. If it broke tomorrow I'd buy another one.At one time they was an article and video at RYO mag. Eidet by Ol lady to make mo readable

I used a electric stuffer and I threw it in my closet and got a Top-o-Matic .
The electric one would gum up on me and it chopped the tobacco up too much if it was a little on the dry side .
With the electric one the cherry would fall of ocasionally .

I'm sure you guy's no this but baccy cased too high will damage any packer in no time.During the humid months just throw what you want to shred in the microwave for a minute and let it cool.

If you rip a commercial cig apart it's pretty much coarse dust and if the baccy is in very low case the packer shreds it has it fills.I got at least 3 thousand HOMEBREW packs on my T2 and she's still tickin fine.

Every review of the electric machines say to me don't bother, The only one I've seen that looked promising is only being sold in europe and the price is 200-400 dollars, I can't remember which.
