Cigar Bands

Very tidy, MarcL. The Montecristo band is actually a dark brown. My photo of it looked brown to me, until I looked at your black one. The effect has to do with unconscious assumptions about the illumination and reflectance. (Remember the gold and blue dress?)

What software are you using Bob? I have not figure out how to curve text yet with gimp.
I use a 20 year old Photoshop 6.0. After all these years of using it, I still don't know half of what's available there.
You can curve text with Corel's PaintShop Pro, which is often on sale for ~$20: http://psp.anotherjo.com/text_on_curve.htm

How Cute is This?
Today, I received a gift from my brother that included a mix of cigars. Among them was this El Oso cigar, made in Miami, Florida.
Given the apparently straight muzzle, I'm going to call this a black bear (rather than a grizzly). Given that it's wearing a crown, maybe it's a Yogi Bear.
El oso is Spanish for "bear."
