I was doing a little searching trying to compile a list of corojo types and came across this article.
www.jrcigars.com
I was taken aback when I read in the third paragraph:
"Corojo is grown almost entirely in Honduras in the Jamastran Valley, as well as parts of western Kentucky in the U.S. mostly noted for its thick and nutty tasting Burley leaf that is featured in many top-quality pipe tobaccos."
I attempted to verify this with further searching but came up fruitless. Is corojo really grown for use as a "burley"?

The sun soaking Corojo wrapper is one of the best additions to a premium cigar blend. Its great flavor and unique complexity make it perfect for adding something special to a cigar.
