I’m not having any luck so far, everyone is whining about not seeing any this year.
How’s everyone else’s season so far?

Bucks wander through my yard nearly every day.

Saw the buck at the elevator a week or so ago and the mooseon first day of the draw season just a couple miles from my house.

Actually a lot less deer around “here” this year. Last winter had a deep snow cover and very cold temperatures.

I've been out three times and seen lots in places and at times where I can't shoot. I only have whitetail tags, but easily could have gotten a cow moose. If I had time to hunt I wouldn't be worried.

My hunting partners range from 60-80.
You know I'm fricking sore. Bulky clothes and heavy boots for hunting in the cold and deep snow and hunting with old guys with bad knees. Friday was basically me stalking and pushing all day.

I finally broke down and built me a nice 2 person box stand. I filled 3 tags and my friend filled 2. I've used all my legal deer hunting tags that I can but there's is still hogs to hunt. No more Pop up tents or tree stands after this year.
