Peter Stokkebye Navy Flake is a nice smoke as is but really benefits from a little aging.
After I'd jarred a pound for 6 months the difference was quite noticeable - a little smoother & a touch sweeter.
The jar note was delicious with a strong dried fruit aroma.

I've got another 18oz jarred that I've buried at the back of my 'cellar' that I will leave for as long as I've still got some of the other batch to smoke.

Bullseye Flake is probably my favorite Stokkebye blend. I've got several ounces of it I've been aging for a couple years.

On a side note, a woman recently came into the cigar shop where I work and after chatting with her I found out she grew up right next door to Peter Stokkebye their families were friends. She loved the smell of his cigarettes and when she took up the habit, she smoked the same brand (I can't recall the specific brand).

Imagine growing up next to an iconic tobacconist like Stokkebye...

That would have been cool. With that influence I'd like to think that I would have learnt the difference between cigarettes & pipe tobacco encouraging me to smoke a pipe.

I've got 8oz of Bullseye Flake jarred & cellared. Another fine VaPer flake.
As I wont be able to get more I may as well get the most out of it. So it will stay jarred for at least 3 years.

I used to smoke the Danish still have some left after smoking leaf I found the leaf to be better. When I managed to get the cigarette tobacco I left it in the cans for a couple of years that stuff was good the pipe blend was not as good. Tobacco will taste different based on the cut.
