I've only had them a couple of weeks, and I had the same concern when ordering them, but they do great. Now granted you have to use small bites, but when they tend to jam up and they do, I just open and close several times and then push together from the outside and they clear. I used on various levels of moist to dry leaves and again, if in small bites they do great with no residue left on or between the blades. Now I would not use them to do a whole lot of leaves, but more so when tailoring pipe cut for cigarette cut. Like right now, I'm processing my latest leaf buys and am guessing I have about seven more pounds to destem, then will shred and store at the pipe cut size. When mixing for my cigarette blends is when I will start using them again. Also, at $7.00 a pair, figured I couldn't go wrong with trying them out.Since those multi-blade scissors are intended for snipping herbs, like chives, I'm wondering how quickly they gum-up from cutting tobacco, and how you go about cleaning off the gunk. (That concern has dampened my urge to purchase a pair of them.)
