Welcome to the forum. Feel free to introduce yourself in the Introduce Yourself forum. Be sure to read the New Growers' FAQ, and scan through the topics in our Index of Key Forum Threads. Both are linked in the menu bar.
What varieties are you growing? Can you show photos of dry plants, with less cropping of the photos? In your photo 125319, the slight yellowing of the leaf tip in the lower center is an indication that this particular leaf has sufficiently matured.

Fellow UK first time grower here myself, from what I've learnt the perfect leaf to pick is when it's gone yellow altho you can harvest when light green which is what you've got there, if you do harvest some if you're planning on colour curing in a cuboard or something like that, make sure you have a humidity of 60-70% as green takes longer to colour cure also be sure to introduce air flow, or you could try the towel method I personally do both hanging and towel methodMy first time growing in UK conditions is this ripe enough yo harvest been in the ground about 4 months just don't want to harvest early

Perfect thankyou very tempted to harvest the whole lot before the weather turnsI might be tempted to give them a bit longer but do keep an eye on the weather, any talk of frost means you need to harvest. Maybe next year you could start your seedlings a wee bit earlier, we don't get a lot of Summer here do we.
Hi thanks for the reply I think I may just harvest the lot and towel method it iv had some success with some smaller leafs of another plant so I'm guessing that harvesting now and towel method won't leave me with mega green leaf at the endFellow UK first time grower here myself, from what I've learnt the perfect leaf to pick is when it's gone yellow altho you can harvest when light green which is what you've got there, if you do harvest some if you're planning on colour curing in a cuboard or something like that, make sure you have a humidity of 60-70% as green takes longer to colour cure also be sure to introduce air flow, or you could try the towel method I personally do both hanging and towel method

Yeah you'll be good to harvest the lot I've even harvested dark green leaves towel method them and they come out fine, this is before and after 5 daysHi thanks for the reply I think I may just harvest the lot and towel method it iv had some success with some smaller leafs of another plant so I'm guessing that harvesting now and towel method won't leave me with mega green leaf at the end
Awesome dude thankyou did you hang these afterwards once you had the desired colour ?Yeah you'll be good to harvest the lot I've even harvested dark green leaves towel method them and they come out fine, this is before and after 5 days
Yeah so after I hang them up to slowly dry out and then store them in my box for ageing, attached some photos of some dried out ones and a picture of one that's hanging in my curing cuboard, I'm letting these all age till after Xmas when I have the funds to build a kilnAwesome dude thankyou did you hang these afterwards once you had the desired colour ?
Have done, posted some photos of ones I recently dried out and will post an update when the current batch is doneI'm seeing a lot of enthusiastic optimism regarding leaf that cannot be adequately seen in the posted photos. Do post some dry photos of the final outcome, @dannozzy.

Thankyou for sharing had given me alot of pointers going to harvest tommorow and get the towel process going then hang to dry thanks again .when you say put in your box till after Xmas is that a air tight box to cure abit more ?Yeah so after I hang them up to slowly dry out and then store them in my box for ageing, attached some photos of some dried out ones and a picture of one that's hanging in my curing cuboard, I'm letting these all age till after Xmas when I have the funds to build a kiln
Yeah I've been harvesting as much as I can because it's getting cold, just a plastic box with a lid, all I'd say when storing use a hydrometer to make sure it's around 60% to avoid mould growing, I put some holes in the top of my lid just to put my paranoia asideThankyou for sharing had given me alot of pointers going to harvest tommorow and get the towel process going then hang to dry thanks again .when you say put in your box till after Xmas is that a air tight box to cure abit more ?
Hey so this is my plants today after the rain would you say harvest the lot today and begin the process of towellingYeah I've been harvesting as much as I can because it's getting cold, just a plastic box with a lid, all I'd say when storing use a hydrometer to make sure it's around 60% to avoid mould growing, I put some holes in the top of my lid just to put my paranoia aside
With it getting colder and colder I would, I'd say make a system tho have a towel method for lighter greens, one for greens with a bit of yellow in then and another for any darker greensHey so this is my plants today after the rain would you say harvest the lot today and begin the process of towelling
Thanks very much gonna get it all set ready to harvest and then begin the process thanks againWith it getting colder and colder I would, I'd say make a system tho have a towel method for lighter greens, one for greens with a bit of yellow in then and another for any darker greens
