istanbulin, i had been member to a lot of forums and never been banned, mainly because when things getting bad between me and admins-moderetors,i simply abandoned the forum.
The truth is that not only rules, but the spirit of the admins in a forum can be really annoying. I'm not a provocative person, but i want to tell my opinion freely. Some admins didn't like that.
It's really a shock when somebody forces you not to tell what you're thinking, but this is internet's "democracy"!

Actually, I wish I had time to abandon the forum but they were really superfast. BTW, democracy of internet is same of real life's democracy, it's inadequate.
So, I think what I'm hearing you guys say is we need more rules.
I'm only here to accommodate you, so how about this one for starters...
As of February 20, 2013, you will no longer be allowed to talk about the latest episode of "Days of our lives". I know there have been some pretty heated arguments about that here, but no more.
...and if you give me any crap about that, I'll ban discussions on Oprah reruns too.

Dam, and I was hoping to talk about the time Dope-ra made an appearance on Days of Our Lives!.. well at least we can still talk about "The View"
I think there's nothing here and all the section of "general discussions" against general forum rules. People are discussing generally friendly and sharing ideas or experiences if they have. I think you should represent a valid reason for this restriction.
