I bought my machine from here and it is heavy duty. 160 V2.

Can't possibly be the Gabej G10T; it's not among any of the machines on the website of the link you provided.

Is your machine the manual 160 V2 or the electric 160 V2?

About electrical current: I imagine the voltage of yours must be 220V/50 Hz., not 110V/60 Hz. Here in North America, we use 110V/60 Hz. So an electric shredder manufactured in Poland would have a plug incompatible with our outlets, and would therefore require a voltage converter.

Todd,
I've seen those before (the cheapest one). Not interested. If I were to get a shredder at all, it would be a tabletop, not something that has to be clamped. However, thanks for the link.

If you cant afford a Powermatic the pasta machines will do a good job. They are very case sensitive. and Id buy one from the folks that sells new rakes. Getting use to the feel of proper case is a little tricky. Wet spots is what I had a lot of problems with.

If you mean the T180, which seems much like a Powermatic, then I think you put the decimal point in the wrong place. Its price of 180 euros converts to about U.S. $235. But once you add the cost of shipping, and a voltage converter, and it would then be about the cost of a Powermatic.

The T160 sells for 175 euro, the et160 sells for 500 euro and the et180 sells for 1150 to 1300 euro. I also tried one of the m10 and it was of very poor quality. I don't think I even got a pound of leaf thru it before it bit the dust. I could have returned it for a new shredder but the shipping was about what the shredder cost. Here is a link for the et180 http://www.alibaba.com/product-tp/143507459/professional_electric_cutting_machine.html http://www.4allsmokers.com/en/tobac...-leaves-cutting-machine-trezo-180-hv-1mm.html. I hope this helps here is a link for the gabej shredders http://www.alibaba.com/trade/search?fsb=y&IndexArea=product_en&CatId=&SearchText=gabej+tobacco

I must stand corrected. I just checked the manufacturers website for the price of the T180. It is 5000 Polish zloty, which converts to U.S. $1600. I must have seen the T160, priced at 175 euros, and thought that it was the T180. My apologies for this mistake. In any case, the voltage is definitely 220V, which would be incompatible with North American electrical outlets. This "discovery" is starting to make the Powermatic S look like a bargain!
