Interesting video with side by side comparisons of various leaves in various stages of readiness...
Just wondered if he was in the ballpark, spot on, etc......

Completely clueless. Completely disregard both the bogus chemistry as well as the recommendations. Upper leaves are always darker. If he knew how to properly color-cure, that dark green leaf would be perfect to prime.

Those seem to be leaves primed from a single plant, top to bottom from left to right. First leaf on the left is mature-to-ripe, second is ripe, third is ripe-ripe and so on. It is (I’m quite sure of this) a white stemmed burley strain. And the guy is not exactly well informed about tobacco leaf chemistry or curing methods, to say the least. FTT is a waaaay more reliable source of information than YouTube.
