guidance: can Perique and Cavendish be used in a cigar?

You can use them in a cigar. Too much Perique will make the cigar too strong and unpleasant. Cavendish can be flavorful, but only as a condiment among cigar tobacco filler.

I general, you can use any tobacco variety in a cigar, but it may or may not taste like what you expect from a cigar.

Why are perique and cavandish tobacco good and tasty for pipe, but when used as a cigar, it does not taste and smell good?

Perique is great in a cigar. Just needs the right blend and proportions. Have fun figuring it out and getting back to us.
