Hello men,
I'm a smokeless tobacco user. I started experimenting as a child when the stores just assumed you were buying for your dad. I bought a couple of small cans of nasal snuff and kept on my dresser. Occasionally I would have a snort and get dizzy and sneeze alot. I always enjoyed having a friend over and watching their reaction when they did it.
One night a friend was over and we watched The Outlaw Josy Wales. The next day we couldn't wait to get to the store and we bought a plug of Cannonball. We had a great time running around spitting on bugs and dogs....
When I was older I moved on to Beechnut then taxes went crazy and I would just buy whatever was cheapest. I eventually settled on a happy medium of 2 rolls of copenhagen every 15 days. It fluctuated between $48 and $52 evey couple of weeks. Last week I went to my usual place and asked for two rolls, the pleasant lady got them and said $84. I said there must be a mistake and she said Pritzker. So I'm now pretty angry and I start an internet search for tobacco leaves to make my own. It seems it would be cheaper except for one thing. The shipping is ridiculous. $28 for a pound of leaves and $19 shipping. I guess it beats $84. Anyway, my searches also led me here. Hopefully someone might have some kind of work around on the shipping. I've also been enjoying all the recipes posted up on here and am looking forward to my first batch.
